Terms of Service

AIE operates an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of used construction and heavy machinery, and helps facilitate inspection, finance and delivery around those transactions.

Unless we expressly state otherwise in a specific transaction, AIE acts as a facilitator. We are not the manufacturer of the machines listed, and a sale is ultimately a contract between the buyer and the seller. Where AIE itself sells a machine, that will be made clear on the listing and in the sale documents.

We take reasonable care to describe machines accurately. Many machines carry a multi-point inspection and VIN verification, and where available the full inspection report is shown on the machine’s page so you can review it before committing.

Used machinery is sold on an "as-is, where-is" basis. Inspection reports describe the condition of a machine at the time it was inspected and are not a warranty against future wear or faults. We strongly encourage buyers to read the report, ask questions, and inspect the machine in person before completing a purchase.

Prices shown on listings are in Indian Rupees and reflect the amounts stated on each listing. Unless stated otherwise, taxes such as GST, registration, transport and other statutory charges may apply in addition and will be made clear before you commit.

AIE charges zero brokerage to buyers and sellers on standard marketplace transactions. Any offer you make through the platform is an expression of intent and is subject to acceptance by the other party, continued availability of the machine, and successful verification of documents and payment.

Finance and EMI options are provided by our NBFC and banking partners, not by AIE. All finance is subject to the partner’s eligibility criteria, credit checks, documentation requirements, interest rates and terms.

AIE helps you apply and shares the information needed to process your application, but does not itself lend money and cannot guarantee that finance will be approved. Any EMI figures shown on the site are indicative estimates to help you plan and are not an offer of credit.

Where delivery is arranged through AIE, we coordinate transport from our yard or the seller’s location to your site. Delivery timelines are estimates and can vary with distance, route conditions, transport availability and the completion of paperwork and payment.

Risk, ownership and title in a machine pass as set out in the sale documents for that specific transaction. Please retain all delivery, payment and ownership-transfer documents for your records.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, and to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and one-time passwords confidential.

You agree not to post false, misleading or fraudulent listings, infringe anyone’s intellectual-property or other rights, upload harmful content, scrape or copy our data without permission, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to our systems. We may suspend or remove accounts and listings that breach these Terms.

The platform is provided on an "as available" basis. While we work hard to keep information accurate and the service running smoothly, we do not warrant that listings are error-free or that the platform will be uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIE is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, arising from your use of the platform or from a transaction between a buyer and seller. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of AIE.
